Take in a quiet evening in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy watching the sunset through the Clearstory windows. After a long hard day of exploring, you can relish basking in the jetted tub and then let sugar plums dance in your head while you sleep on the hand carved Queen bed in the loft. The kids will drift to slumberland under the rafters in the twin beds downstairs. You can burn the midnight oil leafing through a novel in the reading nook.
Dream Hill Cabin is right outside Dillsboro, NC. The Smoky Mountain Country Club in Whittier is just twenty minutes away. You can take your dog to the Smokey Mountain Dog Bakery, enjoy one of the craft stores downtown, or find yourself having a Christmas in July at Nancy Tut's Christmas Shop. Enjoy one of the many festivals that Dillsboro, Sylva, and Cullowhee hold throughout the year. If you feel like venturing further, head towards Cherokee NC, and enjoy the Ocanoluftee Visitor's Center just inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park; buy pottery or go gem-mining in one of the Native American themed stores. You can spice up your nights with gambling, concerts, dining, and more at Harrah's Casino. Take yourself back in time by going to the Museum of the Cherokee Indian or enjoy the outdoor docu-drama, "Unot These Hills". If you feel inclined towards attending a dramatic production or college sporting event, check out Western Carolina University. Mountain bike or hike at Tsali Recreational Center. Cool off by tubing down Deep Creek at the Bryson City entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Take the kids rafting down the Tuckaseegee River or do some more intense white water rafting on the Nantahala River.
